I'm still coming off the high. I'll post a video of the event. We had three cameras, one on the ground and one in cabin. A chase plane also with still photos. WHAT A RUSH!

First flight today. Plane flew better than could be expected. Literally hands off. Engine perfect. Rigging perfect. Weather not so perfect. Had a good 10knot crosswind on landing, but she handled it well. Not my best landing but good enough. I did bend my flaps handle though. Adrenaline I'm sure. 30...

I initially found the plans to be lacking any instruction on how to build the plane. But after going through a few build pages, it started clicking and I looked forward to next page. Now after completing my plane, I can't think of a better way to organize the plans. They provide everything you need ...

I got a super cheap B+D cordless screw driver with hex adapter. Ran on AA batteries, not even rechargable. Some Harbor Freight counter sink bits. Worked great to debur the 2000 plus holes.
