Sonex Builders,

Share your completed and finalized electrical system diagrams here. Reviewing completed diagrams from other users is an excellent way to prepare a diagram for your own project. Help future builders develop their own diagrams by contributing to this archive.

Rules for posting:
1) Completed diagrams only; no works-in-progress.
2) When posting the diagrams, attach them to your response. Acceptable file formats include pdf, picture formats (jpg, tif, etc), or cad formats (dwg).
3) Add text descriptions if needed. The idea is to create a resource that stands alone.
4) Any questions or discussion that is generated from this thread should be taken to a separate message thread.
5) If changes or additions are needed to the user's original message, please edit that post rather than create a new reply.

Thanks to everyone for contributing!

Jeff

Generic Sonex-specific wiring diagrams based on Bob Nuckolls AeroElectric Connection "Z-figures". These have been proven highly reliable and are an excellent place to start your specific design.

Here are a few others to add to the archive that have been previously posted.

Chris Dillman (Waiex # 079): He shows a way to use a traditional key switch (L-R-Both-Start) with an AeroVee. This is tricky because you need to use a dual pole relay to handle both top & bottom magnatrons, plus a second grounding path to ensure the magnatrons are always cold when the system is powered down. It's more complicated than simply using toggle switches, but if you really want a key switch, this is a way to do it.
